How to use a persona

Three steps from a download to better content

You have a persona. Put it in front of the AI you already use, then ask it to judge your content the way that buyer would.

Get the files

Free. Take the whole zip, or just the two files most people use. Then follow the three steps below.

No files picked yet. Open a buyer, then press Download. See the buyers

    Get the persona

Take the files above: the whole zip, or just persona.md and the review prompts.

    • Every tested claim, with the source it rests on
    • The blind test score, and what it was tested against
    • The full profile: personality, voice, buying stages, objections, how it reads. Marked as model pattern
    • Two ready prompts, a README, and a Claude skill for a scored, professional review
    • Versioned: the page keeps the change history

Inside the zip: persona.md, the full persona in plain Markdown, so any AI can read it and so can you; a README that says how to install it and run a review; prompts.md with the review prompts; and a Claude skill that runs a scored, professional review. Nothing is hidden: each tested claim names its source or says it is a model pattern, every profile section says it is a model pattern, and the change history stays on the persona's page. Download it again after a re-test and you have the current version.

    Install it in your AI

Give persona.md to the AI you write with, as knowledge it keeps. In Claude, install the whole folder as a skill.

    • As knowledge it keeps, not a one-off paste
    • Name the buyer when you ask
    • One file per buyer, one buyer per question
    • The same file works in a Project, a Gem, a GPT or a Skill

Where the file goes: Claude: add the file to a Project's knowledge, or save it as a Skill and it loads when you mention the buyer. ChatGPT: add it to a Project's files, or to a custom GPT's knowledge. Gemini: make a Gem and paste the file into its instructions. Microsoft Copilot: attach it to an agent's knowledge, or open the file in the chat before you ask. Claude Code, Cursor and the like: drop it in the project's skills or rules folder. One file per buyer, and keep your own instructions about tone and format separate: a persona describes a buyer, it is not a system prompt.

  3. 03

Ask it to score, review and recreate

Paste your content. Ask three things, in turn.

    Before

We are a leading provider of innovative, end-to-end solutions for your business.

    After

Your line is down. The part ships today and a technician calls you within the hour.

    Now the buyer reads on.
    • Score this as the buyer in the persona would. What works, what does not, and why.
    • What would this buyer change first? The three fixes that matter most, in order.
    • Rewrite it for this buyer. Keep the facts, change what they would doubt.
    Go deeper

Ask for the score before the rewrite, and ask why each time. A number without a reason teaches nothing, and the reasons are where the persona's sources show. When it says a claim of yours would not land, the persona page shows which evidence that rests on.
